Despite a number of measures taken in recent days, the threat of coronavirus in the cities of South Azerbaijan has not decreased. In the last 24 hours, 80 people were infected with the coronavirus in Zangan, and 69 people were treated and recovered. Eleven patients with positive test results were placed in the hospital.
Zangan Health System has issued a statement on the issue. A total of 42,398 people have been infected since the outbreak began. According to official figures, 1,011 people died from the virus. However, the fact that Iranian officials do not provide the population with real data suggests that the prevalence of the disease is higher.
This situation also applies to Tabriz. Thus, the city of Tabriz is considered a “yellow” point due to coronavirus infection and death from this disease. The statement came from Abbasali Dorosti, head of the Ulum Pezeshki Association in Tabriz. According to him, the situation has almost improved. Because in recent years, there has been a decrease in the number of people infected with the virus.
Abbasali Dorosti said that the daily death toll from the virus is up to 10 people. At present, about 600 people are being treated in the hospitals of the East Azerbaijan master. In the absence of an emergency, people infected with the coronavirus are advised not to leave the house. This is the best way to reduce the number of deaths from the virus and illness.
