Graffiti in support of Azerbaijani political prisoners continues in Ardabil

On December 14, Azerbaijani activists in Ardabil painted graffiti, graffiti, and booklets in support of Azerbaijani political prisoners as a continuation of a wave of peaceful protests against the prison administration, Iran’s judiciary, and security forces.

Graffiti engraved on the walls and alleys of Ardabil: “Release political prisoners of Azerbaijan”, “Release Yusif Kari”, “Release political prisoners”, “Stop the massacre”, “Let’s be the voice of Abbas Lisani”, “Abbas Lisani is the voice of the Azerbaijani people” , such slogans stand out.

It should be noted that in recent days, support and activities in the form of distribution and distribution of graffiti, murals, posters, posters and booklets in most cities of Azerbaijan have become a collective call to protest against the indifference of security forces to Azerbaijani activists detained in Iranian prisons.

Well-known Azerbaijani activist Abbas Lisani, who is currently serving a 15-year sentence in the 7th column of the Ardabil Central Prison, has suffered respiratory injuries in recent weeks. Yusif Kari and Ali Vasegi, other Azerbaijani activists detained in Sections 7 and 2 of the Ardabil Central Prison, are in a similar situation.

In recent days, reports of the indifference of the Ardabil judiciary and security agencies to the spread of the coronavirus in the Ardabil prison have attracted the attention of many media outlets and provoked reactions from social network users and human rights activists.
