The mayor of Urmu has been arrested by Iranian security forces. Hussein Panahi, a spokesman for the Urmu City Council, made a statement in this regard.
According to the report, Mayor Mohammad Hazratpur was detained by Iranian security forces. A City Council spokesman only confirmed the arrest. Details of the case were not disclosed.
It should be noted that in recent months, the mayors of the second and fourth districts of Urmu, several deputies and specialists have also been arrested.
