PROTEST AGAINST LACK OF DRINKING IN BILASUVAR

Nazar-Ali Bulagi

Residents of Nazar-Ali Bulagi village gathered in front of the governor of Bilasuvar city of Ardabil province to protest against the lack of drinking water in the village.

According to villagers, they have been suffering from a shortage of drinking water for about 20 years. Despite protests from various authorities, they have so far failed to achieve any results.
The village’s drinking water has been supplied by water tankers for many years. However, according to residents, the so-called drinking water is often filled with dust because tankers often do not have lids.
It should be added that there are many villages in Bilasuvar that suffer from a shortage of drinking water. According to Bilasuvar Commander Hasan Gubadi, the number of villages with water problems reaches 312.

It should be noted that in order to solve the water problem, since 1388, some villages in the city of Bilasuvar have been informed about the history of “Khorozlu”. The goal of the project was to provide water to 170 villages. However, the implementation of the project has stopped at the initial stage after 10 years.
