A group of Azerbaijani civil activists living in the city of Ahar met with Israfil Fathollahzadeh, a former Azerbaijani political prisoner, on Monday night, July 5, at her home

A group of Azerbaijani civil activists living in the city of Ahar met with Israfil Fathollahzadeh, a former Azerbaijani political prisoner, on Monday night, July 5th.

 

Israfil Fathollahzadeh was sent to Ahar Prison on July 28 to be released on bail. The sentence at the end of the sentence included the Azerbaijani activist, who had about 40 days left in the 7-month sentence of this civil activist living in Ahar.

 

Mr. Fathollahzadeh was arrested by judicial officers on February 2, 2017, and was sent to Ahar Prison to serve a seven-month prison sentence for participating in a series of anti-racist protests related to the “Fitileh” television program.

 

The Azerbaijani activist was also arrested on March 1, 1992, on the International Mother Language Day in Ahar.
