The spokesman of the National Registration Organization said:
“From the beginning of April to August 11 of this year, 127,245 marriages and 34,457 divorces have been registered in the population registration database of the National Registration Organization”.
According to IRNA, Saifullah Abu Turabi added:
“During this period, the average age of the grooms was 29.5 years and the average age of the brides was 24.6 years.”
He continued: “Also, from the beginning of April to August 11 of this year, the average age of the couple at the time of divorce was 32.6 and 37.4, respectively, and the average duration of marriage in registered divorces during this period was 10 years.The demographic and immigration information of the Civil Registration Organization is available to the public”.
