Saudi Arabia intends to convene an extraordinary G-20 summit on coronavirus.

The decision was made during a telephone conversation between Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

During the phone conversation, Sanchez asked Saudi Arabia, who is currently chairing the G-20, to call an emergency meeting, while Mohammed bin Salman supported the idea. It was stated that the meeting will be in virtual form and that its agenda will include the development of a new road map related to the situation with coronavirus.
