The Iranian people appreciate the campaign of global governance and civil society leaders calling for the lifting of illegal US sanctions.
The statement came from Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Twitter.
“The United States is not listening. Obstructs the global fight against Covid-19. The only solution is to oppose the US method of mass punishment. It is mandatory to take moral and practical measures, “he said.
The death toll from the pandemic in Iran reached 1,685 yesterday. In total, 21,638 people in the country are carriers of the virus.
