The water level of Lake Urmu decreased by 6 million cubic meters compared to the same period last year, and by 3 million cubic meters compared to the beginning of May this year. This was stated in a recent statement issued by the Resurrection Committee of Lake Urmu.
Currently, the water level of the lake is 1271 meters 25 cm. This means a decrease of 2 cm compared to the same period last year and 1 cm compared to the beginning of May this year. The width of the lake is about 2,794 square kilometers. According to Amara, the width of the lake has decreased by 13 square kilometers compared to last year.
