Sonia Andish stated in the meeting of the Civil, Transportation and Traffic Commission of the Islamic Council of Tabriz, stating that the Abbasi crossroads bridge should be repaired and strengthened as soon as possible. Occurrence of an accident or problem in this bridge, the municipality and the city council will not have anything to say, the municipality of the region will take action to solve the problem as soon as possible.
She said that some problems and shortcomings in urban projects are not acceptable:
“One of the priorities of the Civil Commission is to address the shortcomings and problems in current and previous projects that can cause a lot of damage in the event of an accident.”
The head of the Transportation and Traffic Civil Commission of the Islamic Council of Tabriz added:
“Some traffic and road opening projects have been implemented in the city, and it is not clear whether the necessary standards have been met or not, but what is clear today is that these projects cause Traffic accidents and traffic jams have been created in the city.
Abdullah Taghipour, a member of the Civil Commission, referring to the problem of Abbasi Bridge, said:
“There is a similar problem in Abersan Bridge, which should be studied as soon as possible, because the beautifications done in this bridge have hidden the problems of the bridge from view.”
Referring to some measures taken in the municipality of region one, she said:
“Today, the municipality of region one is acting positively in all areas of work, but regarding the acquisition of gardens, creating a plan for two mosques to establish a connection with Dukmal is a priority.” It can also be solved by owning two shops, and we must also speed up the past measures on 7 Tir Street to see the flow of traffic in this area.
Fereydoun Babaei Aghdam, another member of the Islamic Council of Tabriz, also stated that the development reports of the municipality of region one were presented properly: “All regions should use this method to submit their reports.”
He added: “According to the plan of the Civil Commission, all municipal districts will come to the commission to submit a report, which we hope will avoid purely civil reports, and other measures and projects will also be reported.”
Babaei Aghdam, stating that the municipality of region one has taken good measures in the field of routing, said: “We appreciate the employees of region one for their good activities in the field of diversion.”
Referring to the garden of Tabriz city and the creation of neighborhood parks, he said: in the initial design of parks and cultural spaces, all sections of society, especially the disabled, should be considered.
This member of the city council said: the municipality should take action in the field of acquiring and implementing the large park of Tabriz in conditions where the financial situation is appropriate.
