The name of the building with “Tavrij” written on it was changed to Tabriz

Tabriz city

The inscription “Tavrij” on a building was replaced by the word Tabriz. After numerous protests, the owner of the company, located on Millar 4 Road in Tabriz, decided to rename the building.

It should be noted that recently Armenian and Kurdish historians have begun to falsify historical documents. One of these falsifications is the name Tavrij. Thus, according to these claims, the name Tavrij belongs to the Kurds, and Tabriz was the city of the Kurds. However, if we investigate the issue for only a few minutes, it becomes clear that there is not a single 100-year-old Kurdish grave in the city where the Kurds now live.

On page 438 of Yunus Oguz-Bakhtiyar Tuncay’s book “The Secret History of the Turks” it is written about the word “Tavrij”:

“Kipchak features are more pronounced in Ganja-Kazakh dialects. The pronunciation of the sound “c” as “j” and the sound “b” as “f” in these dialects are signs of Kipchak origin.
