Azerbaijani national activist Shahin Barzegar, together with lawyer Sina Yousefi (member of the Human Rights Commission of the Bar Association of Azerbaijan), took part in the 1st Department of the Tabriz Revolutionary Court today, Tuesday, June 10, at 10:00 to defend the charges against him.
According to the Revolutionary Court, the charges against the Turkish activist include “membership in the illegal Gamaj group (independent spectrum of Azerbaijan)”, “propaganda against the regime” and “violation of public order”.
Judge Rahim Habibar and the third defendant were tried in a criminal trial chaired by Judge Piri.
