The head of Khodabandeh Roads and Transportation Department said: 30 rural roads in this city have not been asphalted so far, half of which have a population of less than 20 households, which requires a credit of 50 billion Tomans.
He added: the priority of projects is with villages with a population of more than 20 families and the length of transportation routes is less.
He said: Khodabandeh city has 950 km of rural roads, about 80% of which are asphalted.
The head of Khodabandeh Roads and Transportation Department, referring to the problems facing the asphalt of rural roads in this city, added:
“The main problem of not paving rural roads is not paying the contractors’ debts, which are currently 15 billion tomans.”
