The national activist’s temporary release extended

National activist Mohammad Abdulmahammadzadeh will remain out of prison for some time.

He was informed about this when he returned to Tabriz prison after the expiration of his temporary release.

According to the report, the term of his reease was extended due to the spread of coronavirus.

It should be noted that Abdulmahammadzadeh was arrested during the Aban protests, along with many Azerbaijani cultural activists, without any reason or court decision.

He was transferred to Tabriz Central Prison after 70 days of interrogation in Tabriz.

The activist was sentenced to 12 and 15 months in prison respectively on charges of “insulting the leader” and “propaganda against the system.”

This verdict was upheld in the 26th Department of the Reconsideration Task Force of East Azerbaijan.
