Due to severe weather conditions, the road connecting the villages of East Azerbaijan was closed. Gulamriza Rasulzadeh, the person responsible for coordinating snow removal on the roads of East Azerbaijan, informed about the issue.
It was noted that the road connecting 120 villages in the region was completely closed. Nevertheless, the situation on the main roads of the province remains stable.
Gulamriza Rasulzadeh said that in order to prevent landslides, the areas were cleared of snow and salt was poured on the roads. Currently, there are no restrictions on the movement of cars and pedestrians on the main and auxiliary roads of the province. In addition, roads and highways are open.
Work is underway to restore traffic on rural roads.
