Aslanduz’s Mil Mugan Dam’s pond is home to 30,000 migratory birds

Said Shahand, Director General of the Ardabil Provincial Environmental Protection Department, said that Aslanduz’s Mil Mugan Saddi pond is home to 30,000 migratory birds.

“Aslan Mu’s Mugan Saddi’s pond hosts 28,000 to 32,000 migratory birds a year and is currently spending the winter in the pond.”

Said Shahand added:

“Swans, small white-tailed geese, large and small cormorants, amateurs and other birds were seen in the pond of the Mil Mugan Dam.”

Said Shahand also said that Mil Mugan Saddi’s pond is 150 hectares and is located in Aslanduz Province, north of Ardabil Province. We are trying to turn this pond into a tourist destination at the international level.
