Dear Friends,
Ukraine’s joy is Azerbaijan’s joy and Ukraine’s sorrow is Azerbaijan’s sorrow. Ukrainians are Azerbaijanis are true brotherly nations and we share some history together. Both nations have heavily suffered from Soviet Empire’s repressions in 1930s and 1940s, both nations’ territories have been occupied by Russia. Even before in 1828, Russia divided Azerbaijan into two and more than half of Azerbaijan’s territories are still under occupation of Persian Mullah regime. 35 million Azerbaijanis from Iran, 10 million Azerbaijanis in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijani diasporas around the world always love and support Ukraine, especially in these tragic time. Russia helped Armenia occupy Karabakh from Azerbaijan and massacre Azerbaijanis in Khojali. Russia occupied Crimeria, Donbas, and Donetsk from Ukraine in 2014. Now in 2022, Russia has an ambition to occupy both Ukraine and Azerbaijan one by one and create a new Soviet like Empire. The great brave Ukrainian Nation fights not only for its territorial integrity, but also for freedom, democracy, nations’ liberty. Ukraine is the front theater of ex- Soviet nations’ liberty battles. During the first and second Karabakh war, Ukraine and Ukrainians shared their brotherly support and love with Azerbaijanis. We would like to tell you that Azerbaijanis will always be on the side of Ukraine. Ilham Aliyev was forced to sign on alliance agreement with Russia a day before Russia’s second invasion of Ukraine started. I would like to share with our beloved Ukrainians know that neither Azerbaijani government nor Azerbaijanis never sees Russia as their ally. That agreement is a piece of paper that don’t indicate any reality of our national interests. Azerbaijan will always be true friend of Ukraine. As a true supporter of Ukraine and a member of Azerbaijani nation, I would like to go to Ukraine and fight against fascist Russia in Ukraine. We are together with You! Slava Ukraine! Long live Ukraine! Yaşasın Ukrayna!
