THREE YOUNG PEOPLE ARE ACCUSED OF BURNING A PICTURE OF KHAMENEI

40 years in prison

Three young men living in Alahvaz were sentenced to a total of 40 years in prison. Thus, 23-year-old Raad Hamdani, 19-year-old Qasi Khasraji and 20-year-old Sajjad Debate are accused of burning a picture of Ali Khamenei in the city of Shush during the aban protests of 1398.

They were charged in Dezful’s Revolutionary Court with “working against the security of the country” and “war.” According to the court, Gasi Khasraji and Sajjad Debat were sentenced to 10 years each, and Raad Hamdani to 20 years. They are currently being held in the Suleiman Mosque.

According to human rights activists, detainees at the Information Center were tortured and forced to testify falsely. According to preliminary information, these people are being held together with prisoners who have committed serious crimes.
