
More than 100,000 people between the ages of 10 and 49 are uneducated in East Azerbaijan Province. The statement came from Isfandiyar Sadigi, Deputy Head of the East Azerbaijan Main Education Department for Literacy.
According to him, in order to achieve clear and sustainable development, there must be enough educated people in the society. According to the 90s and 95s, the level of education in East Azerbaijan is good. The level of education in the cities of East Azerbaijan for 95 years was 88.01 percent of the province.
This figure is 75.03 percent in rural areas. Isfandiyar Sadigi said that there are 16 local educational centers in the province. It is planned to increase the number of these centers to 39.
It was noted that according to the order of 1995, there were 140,000 uneducated people aged 10-49 in the province. At present, this amount has been reduced to 117,000 people. It should be noted that 3,425 teachers work in the province.
