Restrictions on coronavirus have been re-imposed in East Azerbaijan. Elyar Rastgu, deputy head of the East Azerbaijan region’s political and security department, told Covid-19 that the corona restrictions had been re-enforced due to an increase in the number of detainees.
Pointing out that people do not pay attention to the dangers of mourning, weddings and family gatherings, Rastgu said that the previous restrictions will be implemented again.
“Despite the implementation of social restrictions and relatively acceptable progress in the fight against corona in recent months, the negligence and non-compliance of many people with the rules of carelessness has led to a daily increase in the incidence of the virus,” he added.
According to the Iranian Ministry of Behdash, the total number of people infected with Jovid-19 reached 195,051, and the death toll reached 9,185. The situation in Hormozgan, Khorasan Razavi, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, East Azerbaijan and Al Ahvaz provinces has been declared red.
