IRIB Censored Turkish Poems Of An Iranian Poet

IRIB Broadcasted Persian Poems, But Censored Turkish Poems

H. Norouzi, bilingual poet, declares that local office of IRIB recorded some of his Turkish as well as Persian poems, but only broadcasted Persian ones and censored his Turkish poems. When he called to the authorities, the answer was either “silence” or only “I’m Sorry”!

Although Turkish language is Mother Tongue of approximately half of Iranians, this language is censored and boycotted in Iran.
