Zanjan University of Medical Sciences and Health Services said: “The situation with coronavirus in different cities of the country is assessed according to the indicators set by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
According to him, the situation is currently red in Zanjan, Abhar and Khorramdara, and orange or yellow in other cities.
Dr. Mohammadreza Saini told IRNA on Tuesday:
“The spread of the coronavirus is nine times stronger than the common cold, and in this case, the health authorities have repeatedly warned that the presence of any public gatherings, especially the population, and unnecessary movement increases the spread of the virus. However, the people of Zanjan do not pay much attention to these authorities.
He also stressed: “Studies show that the number of coronavirus cases in Zanjan will increase in the next two weeks. The reason for this is not only in this area, but also in the country, which complicates the situation.
According to him, currently 65% of the population of the region uses masks to prevent coronavirus infection, but this is not enough. This figure should be more than 90 percent. This is especially important given the arrival of autumn and the spread of influenza.
