Alahwaz Arab activists living in Denmark and the Netherlands are still in jail, and one of them, Yagub Hor al-Tosteri, has been on hunger strike for three weeks.

Yagub Hor al-Tosteri, a political immigrant living in Denmark and the Netherlands, has been on a hunger strike for three weeks, and Habib al-Jabr, the leader of the Arab Movement for the Freedom of Ahwaz, and his brother Nasir al-Jaber are protesting against their arrest in those countries with Isa Mahdi al-Fakher, a presenter for Ahwazana TV.

Yagub al-Tosteri is a spokesman for the Arab Movement for the Freedom of Ahwaz. He was arrested in Denmark in February along with two of his comrades-in-arms, including the movement’s leader Habib al-Jaber and his brother Nasir al-Jaber, on charges of supporting espionage and terrorism in Saudi Arabia.

Isa Mehdi al-Faher, a member of the movement’s press in the Netherlands and host of the Ahvazana TV channel is also among the arrested.

A Danish court has accused them of supporting terrorism and espionage; they deny the allegations and the case is still pending.

None of the charges against these individuals has been proven yet, and no evidence has been presented.
