Azerbaijani national activist Shahin Barzegar was sentenced to one year in prison by the 1st Department of the Tabriz Revolutionary Court.
According to ANT, Gazi Halambar’s lawyer was informed about the settlement. According to the report, Barzgar was sentenced to one year in prison on charges of “propaganda against the system.”
In part of the court decision; “According to the report of the Master’s Information Office, the activist shared divisive images on Instagram, posted pictures of ethnic prisoners and demanded their release. Although he had previously been convicted on the same charges, he resumed his activities.
