1. Condemnation of the Authoritarian and Colonial Policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran:
We strongly condemn the repressive, colonial, and authoritarian policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which are systematically imposed on the various nations within Iran. These policies are based on assimilation, including cultural suppression, denial of identity, economic and political sanctions, and blatant violations of human rights and the rights of oppressed nations.
2. Support for the Rights of Oppressed Nations:
The Democratic Nations Coalition in Iran strongly supports the legitimate rights of oppressed nations, including the Turkic Azerbaijanis, Arabs, Baluchis, Kurds, Turkmens, Qashqais, and other nations in Iran. All nations in Iran must have the right to self-determination and enjoy full equality in all aspects of life. We emphasize the importance of federalism based on the right to self-determination, equitable distribution of power, wealth, and resources, so that all nations in Iran can participate in decision-making structures and defend their rights.
3. Recognition of the Rights of Various Religions and Sects:
The Democratic Nations Coalition emphasizes the need for respect and equal rights for different religions and sects in Iran. Every individual should have full freedom in their beliefs without discrimination or repression. We call for an end to the persecution of religious and sectarian minorities and defend their right to freely practice their religious rituals.
4. Support for Political Prisoners and Condemnation of Executions:
The Democratic Nations Coalition in Iran strongly condemns the inhumane and repressive treatment of political, ideological, and civil activists by the Islamic Republic of Iran. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners and the immediate halt to executions. Execution as a tool of intimidation and suppression of nations and citizens must be entirely stopped and abolished. The Islamic Republic regime must adhere to the United Nations human rights conventions it has signed.
5. Support for Women’s Rights:
The Democratic Nations Coalition emphasizes the need for the full equality of women with men in all aspects of social, economic, and political life. We firmly oppose any form of gender discrimination and the oppression of women. We call for the removal of all political, legal, and social obstacles facing women and consider equal employment, educational, and social opportunities for them essential.
6. Support for Workers’ and Wage-Earners’ Rights:
The Democratic Nations Coalition pays special attention to the rights of workers and wage-earners and the need for fair and humane working conditions and labor laws. We call for the realization of workers’ rights through the formulation of labor laws with their participation, recognizing the right to form trade unions, fair wage determination in line with inflation, the right to strike, safe and healthy working conditions, and job security for all workers and wage-earners in Iran. The Islamic Republic’s actions in suppressing workers’ rights and preventing the formation of labor unions must be strongly condemned.
