Iran is concerned about the friendship between Turkey and Azerbaijan

South Azerbaijan

Needless to say, the Iranian government is an enemy of Azerbaijan and Turkey in general. Since the existence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Iran has seen a strong Azerbaijan in the north as a threat to South Azerbaijan. For this reason, he stood in front of Azerbaijan wherever there were interests. The most obvious example of this is its position next to the occupying Armenia during the 30-year occupation of Karabakh. But the day came and the Republic of Azerbaijan began to take its legal lands. No matter what Iran did, it did not manage to save Armenia, and now the flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan is waving in the liberated lands. Undoubtedly, the support of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan played an important role in the implementation of this issue.

Therefore, Tehran’s concern is not only for Baku, but also for Ankara. In particular, according to the Karabakh ceasefire agreement, the construction of the Nakhchivan corridor will connect Turkey from the ground to Azerbaijan and, in fact, to the Turkic world. Iran, which does not prevent this important issue, expresses its hostility to Turkey over the agreement. However, the only political and economic damage of this hostility is not only the Islamic Government of Iran, but also the South Azerbaijani nation. Thus, large-scale landscaping and construction projects will begin in the lands liberated by Azerbaijan, and the lands destroyed by Armenia for years will begin to be rehabilitated. Naturally, there is a serious business and economic opportunity here. The Republic of Azerbaijan, which is involved in every major project, can cooperate with many foreign countries in this project in accordance with the rules of free trade.

The proximity of the border and the historical ties between South Azerbaijan and the North naturally create this opportunity for the businessmen of South Azerbaijan and the nation in general. In other words, while there has been a severe economic stagnation in Iran for years, the landscaping of Karabakh has created a job opportunity for South Azerbaijan as well. Hundreds and even thousands of South Azerbaijanis will be able to get jobs and economic opportunities on this occasion, but thanks to the hostile policies of Iran against its neighbors, it has begun to squander this opportunity.
Iran admits that it is on the losing side of the political table, and at least continues its useless hostility, at least from now on.

Thanks to this wrong policy, some members of the Iranian parliament have been insulting Turkey and Azerbaijan for days. Or the media close to Sipah reports that the President of Azerbaijan was targeted by sharpshooters during his visit to the Khurafar Bridge. Or, since the beginning of the Karabakh war, both conservative and reformist media outlets in Iran have been waging a serious provocation against Azerbaijan and Turkey. As Ahmad Aliriza Beygi, a member of the Tabriz parliament, said yesterday, this is due to the dominance of Persian fascism and the Iranian city in Iran’s foreign affairs. We see how catastrophic it would be for a minority in more than 80 million Iranians to dominate the diplomatic mechanism of one of the country’s most important state structures.
However, such hostility and hatred are certainly beneficial. That is why conservative Azerbaijanis, especially those who still believe in the Islamic Republic of Iran, see the real face of Tehran. Promoting all the country’s policies on the basis of Turkish hostility is not only a political loss, but also a serious economic loss in these difficult days, and most of all, it is a simple nation.
