The Norwegian Security Service wants to deport the director of the Iranian religious center in Oslo for cooperating with Iran.
The Norwegian Security Service has called for the deportation of an Iranian cleric who is the director of the Imam Ali Center in Oslo.
A statement from the Norwegian Security Service did not name the cleric, but told Radio Farda that the cleric’s name was Mustafa Mutahhari.
According to the Norwegian news agency, the country’s security service’s request for the expulsion of the Iranian cleric was prompted by information that he was cooperating with the Iranian intelligence service.
The Norwegian news agency did not mention the name of the Iranian cleric, and photos of his face were covered, as only the cleric’s black turban was visible.
However, Radio Farda’s investigation shows that the man was Mustafa Mutahhari, the director of the Imam Ali Center in Norway.
