What happened to Zangan’s trust symbol?

Hasan Naelchgar

The fate of the bicycle entrusted to Hasan Naelchgar, a symbol of trust in the city of Zangan, has been announced. The disappearance of the wheel next to the statue of Hasan Naalchgar, known in Zangan’s Sabza Square as a symbol of trust in the city, has caused controversy on social media. Reports of the theft of the wheel also damaged this trust symbol. However, according to Iranian television, Zangan officials said the wheel had been removed for repairs and would be returned in better condition. Zangan Mayor Habib Yegana said that the information spread on social media was incorrect and that the wheel would be placed in a glass box for protection after repair.

About half a century ago, in Zangan, a passer-by named Hasan Naelchgar entrusted a wheel to a passer-by, but the owner of the wheel never came to get his deposit back. Although he has survived this incident for many years, Hasan Naalchgar remains faithful to his trust and always keeps the wheel in check. Two years ago, when Uncle Hasan changed his life, the Mayor of Zangan erected a statue of Hasan Naalchgar, the city’s trustee, and the wheel entrusted to him in Sabza Square. However, after the wheel was unknowingly removed, there were false reports on social media that it had been stolen.
