Iranian intelligence

Iranian intelligence agencies have used women in espionage and terrorist activities. This situation has attracted the attention of organizations fighting terrorism and espionage after the abduction of several political activists.

In 2013, Turkish police conducted an operation to combat espionage. At that time, it became known that several Iranian women were brought to Turkey to obtain confidential information and documents.

About nine months ago, the Igdir Police Department in Turkey arrested 24 people, including 10 women. According to the investigation documents, the women were arrested by Sipah. They were later released in exchange for spying.

They entered Turkey under the guise of trade and tourism with Iranian passports. It is said that the women passed secret information about the state to SİPAH.
