Iranian, Armenian FMs hold phone talk

Foreign Ministers

Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed the need to intensify interaction at different levels and dialogue based on friendship between the two nations.

As reported by the press service of the Armenian foreign ministry, during a telephone conversation on Monday the ministers confirmed their readiness to deepen mutual cooperation in bilateral and multilateral platforms.

During the conversation, Ayvazyan and Zarif discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral and regional cooperation, in particular, in terms of regional security and stability. In this context, the prospects for cooperation were outlined to resolve new regional challenges.

Contrary to the slogan of support for the Islamic Union and the oppressed Muslims, the Iranian government supports Armenia, which in the Karabakh war killed innocent Muslim children, women and the elderly, and did not hesitate to commit acts of vandalism.

Not content with these actions, the occupying Armenia insulted and looted houses of worship, showing its bias against mosques in Agdam, Zangilan, Gubadli and other areas. The Iranian government, watching all these events, continues to show its support for the occupying country.
