Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has met with his Armenian counterpart Ara Ayvazyan, ANT reports citing the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
It was noted that the bilateral relations and regional issues have been discussed in the meeting of Iranian and Armenian FMs.
“Territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty of all countries in the region, including the Republic of Armenia are very important. The territorial integrity of Armenia is a red line for Iran” said Iranian FM.
He has characterized Armenia as an important neighbor of Iran.
