According to our information, Zeynal Tanhayi, a South Azerbaijani national activist, was detained by security forces in the city of Tabriz on May 13 in connection with the protests in support of Karabakh.
Security forces detained the activists at their workplaces without a court order.
Security forces then went to the activist’s home, took his personal belongings with them to an unknown location.
It should be noted that no information has been provided about the whereabouts of the current activist and the charges against him.
