2021

The Henley Passport Index, which periodically measures the world’s most prestigious passports, has released its latest statistics.

Among the top 10 passports, New Zealand (New Zealand) is seventh with visa-free entry to 185 countries, and Australia is eighth with access to 184 countries.

Previously, the United States, Britain and the European Union traditionally topped the list.

According to the Henley & Partners Institute, the building has made a significant leap in this area. Thus, the Emirate last year signed several agreements on the abolition of mutual visas. In particular, a historic agreement with Israel on the normalization of relations, which allows citizens of both countries to travel to and from each other without a visa.

The building ranks 16th with visa-free travel to 173 countries. When Henley began indexing in 2006, the country was 62nd with access to only 35 countries.

Iran’s passport in this global ranking is one of the ten weakest passports, along with Bangladesh, and ranks 101st in terms of visa-free travel to 41 countries.
