Tehran Province Police Chief Keywan Zahiri said a group selling weapons to the west of Tehran Province had been captured.
During the joint operations with the police of Zangan province, 16 weapons were found. According to the report, the ammunition was obtained in the city of Qaydar in Zangan and delivered to the west of Tehran. During the police search, the suspect and the smugglers were detained at the entrance to the city of Qaydar.
Keywan Zahiri said that the discovered weapons were 13 packs of shotguns and 3 packs of Winchester hunting rifles. The smugglers were arrested and handed over to the courts.
