Five people were injured in a collision between an Isuzu, a Pride and a Trailer.
An Isuzu truck collided with Pride and Trail on the Qazvin-Karaj highway.
Hekmatullah Hashemi, deputy head of the Red Crescent Society’s Rescue and Society, said:
Izuzu and Trayli collided on the northern line of the Qazvin-Karaj road, 25 km in front of the Caspian Industrial Campus.
Firefighters and rescuers from the Muhammadiyah Rescue Squad and the Second Avariz Squad arrived at the scene and removed the wounded from the Pride car.
He added:
“Five people injured in the incident were taken to the nearest hospitals for treatment.
In another incident, 11 people were injured in separate incidents in Khalkhal and Nir counties of Ardabil.
Khalkhal, the director of Urjansi, told IRNA that six people were injured and taken to the hospital in a collision between two Peugeot and Samand cars on the Khalkhal-Asalim road on Saturday night.
Javad Fathi added: After carrying out the initial measures, the wounded were sent by ambulance to the Khomeini hospital in Khalkha.
He pointed out: In order not to witness such heartbreaking events, our citizens should refrain from driving while asleep or tired while following the traffic rules and rest.
However, he did not say what measures would be taken against the dilapidated condition of the roads and the poor quality of cars outside the world standards.
The head of the Nir Red Crescent Society also said that five people were injured in a head-on collision between two Peugeot and Nisan cars in the city.
Asgar Faraji added: The collision took place at 20 km of the Nir-Sarab road.
According to him, two of the injured were rescued by rescue teams and sent to medical centers.
Khalkhal is located 115 km south and the city of Nir 30 km southwest of Ardabil.
