Ardabil province is facing a shortage of green space

Akbar Behnamjoo stated in a meeting with the Islamic Society of Bazaar on Monday morning: Ardabil province is facing a shortage of green space and efforts should be made to expand it day by day.

He said that in the past years, measures have been taken to develop green space in the province, adding that these programs have been left unfinished due to problems and obstacles.

The governor of Ardabil stated: Although the responsible areas are trying to create green space in the province, but these measures are not enough and it is necessary for different strata to enter this area.

Behnamjoo emphasized on the protection of green spaces and exemplary tourist areas such as Shurabil, adding: “These spaces belong to the next generations and it is also necessary to take care of them to maintain the green face of the city.”

He said that preventing the construction of green spaces is a priority in order to protect the green face of the city and added: “Any construction of a building under the pretext of creating limited employment will be prevented.”

The governor of Ardabil stated: in order to preserve the natural landscape of the province, any construction and destruction of green space and nature around the roads has been prevented and efforts are being made to include these issues in the planning of comprehensive tourism projects.

Behnamjoo stated: with the aim of maintaining the radius of vision for the natural landscapes of the province, including Sabalan, small infrastructural measures in the visual paths of this landscape will be prevented.
