Azerbaijani activist Jafar Vakili was arrested in Tabriz on charges of “supporting the liberation of Karabakh.”
Thus, the officials of the Information Department of Tabriz raided the house of the activist on January 6 and arrested him. The charges against the activist, his whereabouts and his health condition have not been disclosed.
In recent months, Azerbaijani activists in Tabriz, Urmu, Ardabil, Zangan, Rasht, Tehran, Khiav, Dash Maki, and Tikantepe have been sentenced to prison for supporting the liberation of Karabakh.
