IRAN’S ATTITUDE TO TENSIONS ON THE FRONT

Karabakh

The main issue discussed in Iran and especially in the whole region is the war in Karabakh. The Republic of Azerbaijan has signed successful operations to end the occupation of its lands. Thus, Armenia is forced to withdraw. However, since the occupation of Karabakh, Armenia has not acted on its own. Armenia is trying to involve other countries in the current situation. In this case, the enemies of Azerbaijan come to work on every front and stand by Armenia. Despite the signing of a ceasefire by Azerbaijan, Armenia continues to violate the humanitarian ceasefire.

As a result, the Armenian armed forces fired on the city of Ganja, miles away from the battlefield.
There has been great support for the Azerbaijani army in southern Azerbaijan since the beginning of the war. Iranian Turks first protested against Iran, which openly supported Armenia. Protests took place in many cities from Tabriz to Tehran. Thus, the South Azerbaijanis strongly condemned the Tehran government’s support for Armenia. These protests were so effective that Iran withdrew, albeit so-called. As a result, the Iranian government began to compose sentences relevant to Azerbaijan. However, the country has not yet closed its 33-kilometer border with Armenia.
Anti-Azerbaijani and anti-Turkish articles were widely circulated in Iranian newspapers and news sites.

Iran also tried to overshadow the occupation of Karabakh by exaggerating the diplomatic relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan with Israel. These pressures continue in South Azerbaijan as well.
At a time when Azerbaijanis were making their voices heard, the Tehran government did not hesitate to pursue a fascist policy. On the contrary, he pursued this policy more vigorously. It is no coincidence that Iran is pursuing a sharp Persian policy. For example, in a new statement, Iran’s Minister of Culture said that the names of movies should be in Persian only. During the meeting with the head of the Persian Language Academy Gulam Ali Haddad Adil, it was stressed that the names of all workplaces must be Persian. The Minister of Culture said that all these steps serve to protect the Persian language. It was also announced that the relevant measures were taken on the instructions of the revolutionary leader Ali Khamenei.

Earlier, Ali Khamenei expressed dissatisfaction with the state of the Persian language, noting that not enough has been done to protect it. For this reason, the Iranian authorities are trying to take certain steps towards the development and protection of the Persian language in different areas.

According to many Azerbaijani activists, these days South Azerbaijan must openly show its strength and protest against the government. Unfortunately, in recent days, Azerbaijani activists have been subjected to severe pressure and imprisonment, both for this reason and for their support of Karabakh.
