South Azerbaijani activists are under investigation

Four days after the arrest of Hussein Amir Hijri, a South Azerbaijani activist and philanthropist, without any information about his condition, it has already been reported that he is being held in solitary confinement in the Information Ministry’s prison and an investigation has been launched.

After the investigation, Rasul Razavi and Akbar Muhajiri were investigated together.

A case has been filed against Hussein Amir Hijri, Rasul Razavi and Akbar Muhajiri in the Tabriz Judicial District, and once the investigation is completed, their cases will be sent to the Revolutionary Court for consideration.

They are accused of organizing and participating in national-cultural gatherings.

According to another report, Rasht residents South Azerbaijani activists Vadud Asadi, Mohammad Eni, Ibrahim Ganji and Vahid Beygzadeh were recently detained by security forces for supporting the operation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and its army to liberate Armenian-occupied Karabakh.

These cultural activists were released on bail on Mehr 30, until the end of the trial.
