The plan to organize the historical context of Ardabil Bazaar is being implemented

Director General of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Ardabil province said: the preparation of a study plan to organize the historical context of Ardabil Bazaar by Mohaghegh Ardabil University is in the final stage to enter the operational phase after completion.

Nader Fallahi  added:

“In order for this plan to be operational, the houses in question were visited in the presence of the chairman of the city council and municipal managers, and the problems in this market were examined to provide grounds for solving them. With the cooperation and participation of the Islamic Council of Ardabil City and Municipality and also with the support of bazaars, we will take basic measures to repair, recreate and revive some houses of the historical bazaar, with priority given to rice sellers, cotton sellers and Zanjirloo”.

Fallahi said: “We are trying to take stronger steps than in the past in order to revive and develop the historical market of Ardabil. This goal has definitely been achieved with the cooperation of the municipality and the city council with cultural heritage.

The head of Ardabil City Council also appreciated the actions of the province’s cultural heritage in reviving the historical context of Ardabil Bazaar and said: “These actions will be supported by the city council.”

Javad Ansari during his visit to Ardabil Historical Bazaar stated: In order to reconstruct several complexes and houses of Ardabil Historical Bazaar, the city council and Ardabil Municipality will cooperate and cooperate with the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage of Ardabil Province.

Regarding the reconstruction and revival of Ardabil shoemakers’ market, he promised to participate in this matter and said: “According to the agreements made, the funds for the revival of this house will be provided by the cultural heritage and will be implemented by the municipality as soon as possible.”
