Armenia has asked for time until November 25 to withdraw its citizens from our occupied territories.
The statement came from Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration.
According to Hikmet Hajiyev, Azerbaijan has given the time Armenia asked from the point of humanism.
Hajiyev said that according to the statement, the Armenian armed forces will be withdrawn from the Kalbajar region by November 15.
“Yesterday, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia discussed. The Armenian side appealed to Azerbaijan through Russia. The Armenian side demanded that this period be extended until November 25. The weather is difficult, there is only one road in that direction – the Zod-Vardenis road, and the capacity of the road is low. Taking this into account, Azerbaijan demonstrated humanism and agreed to evacuate the civilian population in Kalbajar by November 25. The commitments remain in force, there is no need to sign a special statement on the extension. “
