The director-general of heritage, culture, tourism, and handicrafts of Ardabil province said:
“The permit for excavation of Qarabolagh area in the Ahmad Bigloo dam in Meshginshahr was issued”.
Nader Fallahi stated in front of reporters on the 2nd of October:
“A permit was issued by the Heritage, Cultural, and Tourism Research Institute to rescue the Qarabolagh site in the area of Ahmad Bigloo Meshginshahr Dam. The excavation operation in this area will start tomorrow with the aim of completing the archaeological studies of this area, and the head of the excavation program is obliged to provide reports and documents on the excavation process and its findings.”
