“Turkish language alphabet notebook” published by Qashqai Turks was given to Turkish children

Qashqai Turkic activists

Qashqai Turks have published a book of the Turkish alphabet in protest of their children’s inability to receive education in their mother tongue.

A group of Qashqai Turkic activists prepared a book of the Turkish alphabet and distributed it among Turkish children, including Qashqai, Azerbaijanis and Turkmens, as part of the “Reviving Hopes” campaign due to the lack of access to education in their mother tongue in Iran.

Baydag, an independent Qashqai news agency, reports that the printing costs of the alphabet book were covered by the collection of donations made by people through the campaign.

But an interesting point in the alphabet book is the design of its cover. This is a decisive response to the biased steps of the Iranian General Directorate of Education.

According to the Baydag news agency, about a month after the distribution of textbooks for the new school year, the Qashqai Turks have now resolutely responded to the biased steps of Iran’s General Education Department.
