A 5-hectare area on Lake Ovan will be allocated for a tourist area. The statement came from Nadir Mohammadi, director of the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Organization of Qazvin.
Thus, the project, together with the legal visit, was entrusted to a private investor. According to the report, the establishment of hotel accommodation may be completed soon.
Nadir Mohammadi said that in the first stage, the water entrances to Lake Ovan will be repaired, as well as places for tourists to rest.
It should be noted that Lake Ovan is located 80 km from the city of Qazvin.
