Emphasizing the destructive effects of drinking industrial alcohol, the head of the Al Jalil Hospital in Agh Gula said that the number of deaths in the province increased by three people yesterday due to the consumption of counterfeit alcohol.
Mohammadreza Zare, head of the General Relations Department of the Turkmen Sahara University of Medical Sciences, said in the evening of April 12 that several people had applied to the hospital yesterday for drinking fake alcohol.
Two of them died in the first hours of treatment due to their serious condition, and the third died a few hours later. He added that four other people who applied to the Al Jalil Hospital in Agh Gula are currently in the private care unit.
The condition of 2 people is serious. Therefore, the two men were taken to the Sayyad Shirazi Hospital in Gurgan.
Mohammadreza Zare, head of the General Affairs Department at the Turkmen Sahara University of Medical Sciences, urged those with signs of intoxication to go to treatment centers without delay.
