The number of people infected with the coronavirus is growing in the western region of Azerbaijan.
Mohammad Mehdi Shahriyari said at the 40th meeting of the Coronavirus Control Agency on Saturday that the number of people infected with the coronavirus has increased due to non-compliance with the protocols and public distance.
He said that the negligence of some officials on the protocols caused much more damage than the negligence of the nation. Shahriyari wanted all the necessary protocols to be implemented without any excuses.
Mohammad Mehdi Shahriyari also called for severe legal penalties for non-compliance with non-compliance protocols, such as public distances, and said that the workplaces of artisans who did not comply with such rules in market places would go on strike.
