The head of the city council has been arrested in Tabriz.
In addition to Debiri, at least three other middle-ranking mayors were also arrested on this basis. Debiri was temporarily released in exchange for a license.
It should be noted that there are allegations that there were many economic scandals during the Fourth City Council of Tabriz, and many managers have been arrested in the last three years. Also in 1395, 4 members of the city council were dismissed. Last month, Riza Paknahad, the mayor of Tabriz, was also arrested in connection with the case.
Sadeiq Najafi was also temporarily released on bail of 30 billion tomans.
Three years ago, 40 people were tried in connection with this case, and now, along with new arrests, members of the Fifth Council and some conspirators have also opened their feet to the case.
