Three national activists were detained by security forces in Tehran

South Azerbaijani national cultural activists Alirza Farshi, Behnam Sheikh and Hamid Manafi were arrested by security forces at their workplaces in Tehran on Tuesday.

Alirza Farshi, Behnam Sheikh and Hamid Manafi were previously sentenced by the Baharistan Revolutionary Court to 15 years in prison and 2 years in exile in Baghmelik and 10 years in prison and 2 years in exile in Mosque Suleyman.

The sentence was eventually commuted to two years in prison and two years in exile.

The exact reasons for the arrests and the whereabouts of the national activists are unknown. However, the reasons for the arrest of the buffaloes are believed to be 2 years in prison.

It should be noted that Akbar Azad, Behnam Sheikh and Alirza Farshi and Hamid Manafi, along with three other national activists, were arrested in Nasimshahr, Tehran in 1392 while attending a ceremony on the Mother Tongue.
