Air pollution can increase the number of coronavirus deaths. This was stated by Deputy Health Minister of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences Abbas Ali Durusti.
He said air pollution exacerbated coronavirus and cardiovascular disease. He said that members of vulnerable groups should avoid going outdoors.
Davud Gasimzadeh, Director of General Affairs of the East Azerbaijan Main Department, also spoke on the issue. “The air quality in Tabriz is unhealthy for all groups,” he said.
It should be noted that a sharp increase in air pollution in the city of Tabriz has been announced in recent weeks. This has endangered the health of the people.
