South Azerbaijani political activist Seyid Rza Seyid Nuri has been acquitted of a new criminal charge.

In this regard, the 1st Department of the General and Revolutionary Investigation Department of Parsabad (Mugan) sent a notice to Seyid Reza Seyid Nuri.

The statement said there were not enough facts to prove the “propaganda against the system” accusation against him. It is also noted that the charge was dropped.

Reza Seyid Nuri was arrested on October 18, 2020 for participating in a protest against Iran’s shipment of weapons and equipment to Armenia. It should be noted that the action demanded the closure of Nurduz customs.

He was released a day later on bail of 70 million tomans until the end of the trial.
